Equipped PDC pickups with exposed pole pieces, this bass has high output and more clarity than ever. The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ features a 3-way power tap switch for access to 3 tonal options allowing for much more versatility. Alongside the upgrades all the great staples of the SR line are here, a smooth fast neck, lightweight body and superior comfortability. Ibanez keeps contributing a constant effort to improve the SR series making this model a truly impressive bass at a great price.
The SR300E features an Accu-cast B120 bridge with extra-wide string slots to accommodate heavier gauges whilst the walls and channels of the bridge plate ensure perfect directional uniformity.
With exposed pole pieces, the PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups produce a stronger signal with an increased response of higher frequencies whilst retaining the low end. They provide rich tone with harmonic detail and dynamic expression.
The 3-band EQ works in conjunction with a coil tap switch for maximum control over a wide pallet of professional bass tones. Tap Mode (single coil) creates a punchy, dynamic sound with superior articulation. Series Mode (humbucking) delivers a full, warm tone, and Power Tap Mode provides the best of both worlds-combining the clarity of the single coil with the fat bottom end of the humbucker.
